Two New Publications In The Works
Over the course of 2015, our staff has been busy working on two publications that we hope will be for sale in the museum by opening day of 2016. This year, we unveiled "Maryland's Catoctin Mountain during the Civil War" which was a pretty popular seller. This year, we were going to do three small publications breaking down the Civil War army by infantry, cavalry and artillery, but at the last minute, we decided to combine them into a handbook. This handbook simply called "The 1863 Civil War Army at Monterey Pass" will discuss the entire army that was at Monterey Pass as well as Franklin County. Showing various uniforms, equipment, and weaponry. Here is the working cover page as well as one of the insert pages for that book.
